Coaching and Consulting Experience

Cordell Kyllo capitalizes on his varied work experience, combined with his rich educational background, to enhance his workshops. Participants leave armed with skills they can immediately use to improve their organizations as well as their own professional and personal productivity.

Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, Cordell spent four years teaching English at the Air Force Academy and another three years at various other universities. He was an editor for The Journal of Technical Writing and Communication and also a founding editor for Corporate Environmental Strategy through Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Cordell holds a Ph.D. in rhetoric and communications from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, specializing in scientific communication. He earned an M.A. in literature at Texas Tech University, a B.A. in English from the University of Washington, and a B.S. equivalent from the University of Utah in meteorology.
