Mary is a veteran executive coach and global leadership consultant with a focus on leadership transition, multi-cultural management and both cross-cultural and executive communication. She works primarily within the C-Suite, strengthening personal awareness and skills that lead to leadership focus, adaptability and mastery.
For the past 25 years, Mary has worked for many diverse and niche organizations throughout the U.S. Over the last 10 years, she worked with senior executives in U.S., Europe, Australia and Africa. Prior to that, she held senior positions within organizations, including director of human resources and director of executive and organizational development. She also served as a senior consultant for a leading provider of management consulting, investment banking and research to the engineering and construction industry, managing its signature coaching program. Additionally, she consulted for a regional non-profit organization that offered legal advice, human resources consultation, training and development to 2,500 employer-members.
Mary’s years in executive coaching have led to opportunities to work within many industries, including education, insurance, gaming, construction, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas and finance. Her career also has taken into numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Coaching Style
Mary became a certified Integral Coach in 2001 and specializes in helping leaders identify and change behaviors and attitudes that interfere with their effectiveness or limit their scope in the organization. She employs strong observation skills and keen insights into areas of personal opportunities, leadership growth and organizational development facilitate client progress. Her ability to connect with clients is evidenced in the fact that so many of them come to see her as their trusted advisor.
Education and Certifications
Mary holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior and development, focused on multicultural leadership, from Union Institute & University. Her doctoral research focused on multicultural leadership. She earned her master’s in intercultural studies and her bachelor’s in education.
In addition, Mary has been a New Ventures Western Certified Integral Coach since 2001 and holds a PCC credential with the International Coaching Federation. She has trained or is certified in Hogan, Meyers-Briggs, DISC, social and emotional intelligence, Firo B and 360° Assessment.
