LG Phillips partners with FranklinCovey to customize a training program to improve execution and productivity to drive down the amount of monthly overtime. 

Executive Overview

 

LG Phillips LCD is the global leader in the development and manufacturing of TFT-LCD panels for electronics. The company faced the challenge of having too much overtime payroll, averaging 10.6 days per month.

 

The company partnered with FranklinCovey to develop a custom training program to increase employee productivity during normal working hours with the ultimate goal of decreasing overtime hours. The custom solution included a session for execution, and a Community of Practice to help employees share goals, plans and after-action review.

 

Two months after implementation, the average number of overtime work days decreased from 10.6 days to 8.4.
